How to Charge Your Crystals in the Full Moon (Deep Sea Gypsy Method)
Charge Crystals in the Full Moon | Deep Sea Gypsy Guide
Step-by-step full moon ritual to charge crystals, why it works, timing, safety, and pro tips from Deep Sea Gypsy.
At Deep Sea Gypsy, every piece is selected for energy first, design second. The full moon is our monthly reset: we clear residual static, re-align a crystal with one purpose, and anchor that intention in a simple, repeatable ritual.
You don’t need incense or a long ceremony. A windowsill, a clean cloth, and one sentence of intention are enough.
What you’ll need
- Clean, dry crystals (keep water away from selenite, halite, malachite, and other delicate minerals)
- A cloth or tray for placement
- One intention, written in a single line
The Deep Sea Gypsy full-moon ritual (5 steps)
- Prep. Wipe dust and fingerprints; keep water-sensitive stones dry.
- State one intention. Example: “I program this crystal for calm focus.”
- Place in moonlight. Space stones on a cloth so they don’t touch. A bright windowsill through glass works if outdoors isn’t practical.
- Charge overnight. The full-moon night is ideal; the night before or after also works.
- Seal at sunrise. Hold each stone, repeat the intention, then wear or place it where you’ll see it.
Safety notes
- Skip eclipse nights.
- If pets or sprinklers are a risk, use an indoor sill.
- Keep the session focused one intention per stone.
Stones our clients charge most
- Clear Quartz amplifier; place at the center if you’re charging multiple pieces.
- Moonstone intuition and emotional balance.
- Amethyst calm focus and protection.
- Labradorite boundaries and transformation.
FAQs
Can I charge crystals through a window? Yes. Direct outdoor light is great, but moonlight through glass still works.
How often should I charge? Monthly is ideal; recharge sooner if you wear a stone constantly.
Do clouds or city light block it? No the timing and intention matter more than a perfectly clear sky.
What if I missed the exact night? Use the night after the full moon and keep your intention simple.
